Kingswood and the surrounding area

Kingswood is an attractive small Surrey village surrounded by undulating countryside, with excellent road and rail connections. London, the Channel Ports, Heathrow and Gatwick airports are all easily accessed by road, via the M25, which is a 5 minute drive away. Kingswood Station in the village provides regular rail services to London Bridge (42 minutes) and East Croydon (23 minutes).

There are a number of traditional local shops, cafes, restaurants and most notably, The Kingswood Arms, next to the station, a popular gastro pub frequented by locals.

Just a few hundred yards from the village is the entrance to Kingswood Warren a prestigious residential enclave, described in local guide books as Arcadian, due to its spacious grounds and large number of trees flourishing in both communal and private parts.

Established wide avenues lined with large family properties predominate, leading to Kingswood Warren Park, Octagon’s magnificent new development.

Superb sports and leisure facilities are well catered in the area, including riding stables, several fine golf courses; the Estate’s own Kingswood Golf Club, and the renowned RAC Woodcote Park Country Club, with its two18 hole courses, impressive sports amenities and high standard restaurants, a short cross country drive away.

This part of Surrey is known for its consistently high standards of education, and there are a good choice of both independent and state schools within reasonable travel time of Kingswood Warren Park, including Aberdour Preparatory School, Epsom College, Kingswood House Preparatory School, Kingswood Primary, Greenacre School for Girls, and St Johns Leatherhead.
